Hen Party

"E-J hosted a lino printing class for my sister's hen do. The whole event was so enjoyable! We made our own lino cuttings and printed these onto lovely tote bags which we took home. There were 15 of us who have never tried lino cutting before and E-J and Fiona were able to help and guide us all as much as we required. The class was loved by everyone, including those who wouldn't normally attend a class like this. I would highly recommend E-J's class to anyone looking for a crafty activity where you can take your own work home to enjoy. Thanks for a fantastic class E-J!”

I was immediately hooked and got myself some tools and have been carving and printing ever since. EJ has always been very generous with her inbox after as well to answer any questions. I highly recommend her work and her workshops, I and a lot of fun and continue to develop and enjoy print making. Thanks EJ!”

  • Linoprinting @Between Two Thorns

“My partner and I did a botanical lino print workshop with E-J and both absolutely loved it. Such a lovely way to spend a morning. E-J is a brilliant teacher who guided us gently through the process but allowed us the freedom to use our own ideas. We were both super happy with the end prints and very surprised we had been able to produce something that looked so good after just one session! Since the workshop I was inspired to have a go at home and have produced a couple of prints which are now on our wall. Hoping to make some Christmas cards one year too!”

  • Botanical Tote Bag Printing @Between Two Thorns

“Back in September of 2018 I wouldn't have realised I was about to pick up such a valuable skill thanks to a lino cutting and printing workshop run by E-J at Between Two Thorns in Brighton. I figured it'd be a bit of fun but after taking part in the workshop and making a tote bag covered in leaves that I'd cut and printed with, I knew I would want to do more! E-J informed us of the best places to get supplies and taught us great tips and guidance.”

  • Taking it further

“Since the workshop to name a few things I've made lino stamps for Christmas wrapping paper that I've reused every year since. I made lino stamps for my wedding invitations and stamped every single aspect of them. And then more recently created tote bags for work colleagues with a lino stamp specific to what we're working on, along with a themed t-shirt for myself using the same stamps."
