TIME PIECE Linocut Print

£55.00

"Time Piece" is a reductive linocut print using 2 colours, bronze and black.

The printed area measures 20cm x20cm
Printed onto A3 220gsm cartridge paper.
This is an unframed piece. Frame just for demonstration purposes.
Limited Edition Signed Prints.
There are two variations of limited prints. £55 each

1: /3 using Nepalese silk paper with gold and silver flecks
2: /5 without the additional paper.

The process: The process is ‘reductive’ and this is where each time a colour is printed, the relief block is carved away.

I use Japanese vinyl to carve into and linseed oil-based ink to print with.
I use an old letterpress, originally used to print broadsheet newspapers called the ‘Columbian Press’ designed by George Clymer.
